First time playing the course and we really enjoyed it. Course was in good condition despite the rain earlier in the week and the greens were good. We will play again for sure on a future visit.

After talking with our group - we all agree that Pine Lakes is a nice course with great playing conditions. Thinking about price/value….I/we concluded that Pine Lakes not a $120 course but more like a $80-$90 value.

Long Bay Golf Club
A fun course that is worth experiencing. The course design stands apart from others in the area. Course conditions were quite good overall. The new greens that were renovated over the last few months were in reasonable shape but a number of putts turned away from the cup at the last minute rather inexplicably. The best part of our round was the very friendly and relaxed staff, including at the bag drop. in the pro shop. the starter, and the ranger! Each one of those folks made us feel welcomed and they were focused on helping us enjoy our day. We found the front nine significantly easier than the back nine. We were happy to conclude our outing with a photo of our threesome with the statue of Jack

Legends Golf Resorts – Moorland Course
The quality of the Moreland course design is so good it overcame some problems during our round and we all agreed the course is worth playing again. It is also worth playing by anyone - don\\\'t be afraid of the \\\"one of the toughest courses\\\" promotional materials. It is a FUN course, and wonderfully unique on the Grand Strand. The first problem we encountered was our round started 35 minutes after our scheduled tee time. There was a group of about 24 golfers they had to send off before we could begin, but a place like the Legends should be able to handle that. The second problem was that the strategically placed bunkers are a wonderful challenge, but they are in need of better quality sand to make them playable. Hard packed sand at the bottom of deep bunkers felt unfair and rather unreasonable considering the greens fees for the course. Even with these two problems, we still enjoyed the course a lot and recommend it for all players.

Sandpiper Bay
We played Sandpiper Bay as our first course of a three round weekend, so we were looking for a course in good shape and not too difficult. Sandpiper Bay delivered and we had an enjoyable round. The course is straightforward, in good condition, and quite playable. Our round started about 30 minutes after our tee time because the starter was having difficulty getting a large group of about 10 foursomes out before us. In our view the course staff should have been prepared for that. Worse, the starter also kind of lost track of us after the delay started. I checked back with him for our "revised" tee time and he was surprised to see me! "You have not teed off yet?" A strange comment from a starter. The course also did not have any water on it. which surprised and disappointed us. Still a good time for us, but some operational things to work on by the crew at Sandpiper Bay.
