Every golf trip produces a few unforgettable moments. Sometimes it’s a dramatic finish on the 18th hole. Sometimes it’s pristine course conditions or a layout that exceeds expectations. Often, it’s simply the experience of spending several days playing great golf with friends in Myrtle Beach.
At MyrtleBeachGolfTrips.com, our golf directors help thousands of golfers plan customized Myrtle Beach golf vacations every year. After golfers return home, our agents personally reach out to gather feedback about their experience, the courses they played, and what stood out most during their trip. Those survey responses provide valuable insight into the courses and experiences golfers continue to talk about long after their vacation ends.
After reviewing the customer feedback collected so far in 2026, several courses consistently stood out in golfer comments and post-trip conversations.
One course that repeatedly appeared throughout the survey responses was Pine Lakes Country Club. Known as “The Granddaddy,” Pine Lakes (top photo) generated more mentions than any other course in the customer feedback. For golfers familiar with Myrtle Beach, that comes as no surprise. The course continues to resonate because it delivers a timeless Myrtle Beach golf experience built around history, atmosphere, and classic design.
One golfer wrote, “Our favorite course was Pine Lakes Country Club. We were very pleased with the package that Ward put together for us.”
Another golfer listed their favorite courses from the trip before adding, “Ward did great job picking the winners… it was another fantastic trip.”
TPC Myrtle Beach also ranked near the very top of golfer mentions throughout the survey responses. Golfers repeatedly referenced the conditioning, hospitality, and overall presentation of the course. For many traveling groups, TPC Myrtle Beach remains one of the premier golf experiences in the area.
One customer wrote, “TPC is the best overall experience in the area.”
Another golfer shared, “The guys really enjoyed the VIP treatment which included range balls, lunch and 2 drinks. TPC Myrtle was our favorite course.”
Caledonia Golf & Fish Club generated equally strong praise from golfers who booked through MyrtleBeachGolfTrips.com. The combination of Lowcountry scenery, course character, and unforgettable atmosphere continues to leave a lasting impression on visiting golfers.
One golfer shared, “Scott made everything hassle free and easy. All the courses we played were great. The staff at all the courses were exceptional. Caledonia was our favorite.”
Another longtime visitor wrote, “Caledonia is always our favorite.”
Prestwick Country Club emerged as another course golfers frequently highlighted after their trips. Named the 2025 South Carolina Golf Course of the Year, Prestwick continues to earn praise from traveling golfers looking for a memorable and challenging Myrtle Beach golf experience. Golfers consistently described Prestwick as one of the most enjoyable rounds of their visit, with many specifically mentioning the course’s conditioning, layout, and overall experience.
One golfer wrote, “Kings North and Prestwick were awesome.”
Another customer commented, “Prestwick and TPC but all of our courses were great.”
Beyond the individual course mentions, one theme repeatedly appeared throughout the survey responses: golfers valued the overall trip experience just as much as the golf itself. Many comments specifically praised the work of MyrtleBeachGolfTrips.com golf directors for helping organize accommodations, tee times, and course selections that created smooth and memorable vacations.
One golfer wrote, “Jon was excellent to work with. He went above and beyond… All facets of the trip went flawlessly.”
Another customer shared, “Scott made everything hassle free and easy.”
The survey responses also reinforced one of Myrtle Beach’s greatest strengths as a golf destination: variety. Golfers repeatedly mentioned enjoying the ability to experience dramatically different styles of courses throughout a single trip, from traditional layouts steeped in history to modern championship designs and scenic Lowcountry golf.
Courses including The Dunes Golf & Beach Club, King’s North at Myrtle Beach National, True Blue Golf Club, Wild Wing, Pawleys Plantation, Arrowhead Country Club, River Club, Tidewater Golf Club, Myrtlewood Golf Club, and the Barefoot Resort courses all generated strong praise throughout the survey feedback as well.
Most importantly, the survey results confirmed something our golf directors see every day: Myrtle Beach continues to create golf trips that golfers remember long
after they return home. Whether it’s a bucket-list round at TPC Myrtle Beach, the timeless atmosphere at Pine Lakes Country Club, or another memorable day spent with friends on the golf course, the experiences continue to bring golfers back year after year.
