Your Foursome’s New Favorite Post-Round Meal: Toffino’s

Reaching a consensus about where to eat on a Myrtle Beach golf trip isn’t easy, but if there is one meal with near-universal approval, it’s pizza.

Show me a person who doesn’t like pizza, and I’ll show you someone who probably has issues. After a long day on the course, a good pie hits the spot, so the only real question becomes: where’s the best place to go?

If your group is staying anywhere near Market Common, or you’re coming off a round on the south end, Toffino’s Italian Bakery Deli Pizzeria should be at the top of your list.

(And yes, I know: any place bold enough to put “bakery,” “deli,” and “pizzeria” in its name raises an eyebrow. Look past it.)

Pizza worth the tripPizza
If Toffino’s isn’t home to Myrtle Beach’s best pizza, it’s on the very short list. Our finicky friends from New York may grumble that the crust is a touch thicker and doughier than what they’re used to, but the flavor is outstanding. Plenty of cheese, a tasty homemade sauce, and fresh toppings make every slice a crowd-pleaser.

Subs that can steal the show
If someone in your group somehow doesn’t want pizza, Toffino’s subs might be the area’s best consolation prize. Remember, this place is a bakery, so the homemade sub rolls are the best. The steak and cheese with Toffino’s signature sauce, sweet peppers, and mushrooms is a favorite, and the Italian sub isn’t far behind.

A life-changing appetizer
Groups needing something to hold them over until dinner should order Topher’s cheese sticks. Fresh mozzarella, shredded cheese, Pecorino Romano, and Toffino’s garlic sauce make them unforgettable. After trying them, you’ll never look at Applebee’s mozzarella sticks the same way.

Italian classics look good
The menu also features a lineup of traditional Italian favorites, such as chicken parm, baked penne with sausage and meatballs, and fettuccine alfredo. They look fantastic every time they come out of the kitchen, though your faithful reviewer has yet to stray from pizza and subs long enough to personally verify.

Don’t skip dessert
Toffino’s is also Myrtle Beach’s go-to spot for Italian pastries. Cannoli, biscotti, Italian cookies – it’s all fresh and it’s as good as you hope it will be.

Featuring indoor and outdoor seating, Toffino’s offers quality food in a relaxed atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a post-round meal.
