Four of YouTube golf’s biggest stars are one round away from a PGA Tour start, and they will have to conquer Pawleys Plantation Golf Club to get there.
The third annual Q at Myrtle Beach will reach its dramatic conclusion with Grant Horvat, Micah Morris, Ryan Ruffles and Luke Kwon battling for a coveted sponsor exemption into the upcoming Myrtle Beach Classic.
The Q, golf’s original YouTube tournament, began with eight creators competing in match play at Rivers Edge. The opening round featured Micah Morris vs. George Bryan, Luke Kwon vs. Sam Heung Min, Ryan Ruffles vs. Chance Taylor, and Grant Horvat vs. Peter Finch (coverage is available on Horvat’s YouTube channel), with the winners advancing to the 18-hole shootout at Pawleys Plantation.
Horvat, Morris, Ruffles and Kwon advanced to the finals, and the championship round will be broadcast on the Bryan Bros YouTube channel on Thursday, April 30.
Pawleys Plantation, a Jack Nicklaus design renowned for both its beauty and bite, provides a fitting stage for the finale. A stunning saltwater marsh comes into play on six holes along the back nine, ensuring no lead is safe and every shot carries consequence in the winner-take-all shootout.
Now in its third year, The Q introduced a new format in 2026. Previous editions featured eight content creators competing against eight aspiring professionals in a single 18-hole event, but this year’s format has added an extra layer of drama on the road to the final.
The Myrtle Beach Classic will be played May 7-11 at the Dunes Golf & Beach Club, a Robert Trent Jones Sr. design widely regarded as one of America’s top public courses. Past winners – Chris Gotterup (2024) and Ryan Fox (2025) – used the tournament as a springboard, and now a content creator will have the chance to do the same.
