The Perfect Finish: Myrtle Beach’s Most Memorable 19th Holes

Sometimes a golf course isn’t much more than a place to check in, grab a drink, and go to the bathroom, but it can be so much more than that. A clubhouse can be additive to your experience, enhancing a memorable day on the course.

If you’re looking for a clubhouse to enhance the good times of your Myrtle Beach golf trip, here are five of the Grand Strand’s most memorable 19th holes:

Caledonia Golf & Fish Club
Caledonia is a consensus top-100 public course, and the view from its clubhouse deck is nearly as memorable as Mike Strantz’s legendary design. Sitting on the wraparound porch overlooking the famed 18th green is a must. Pro tip: Order Clif’s Cajun Chicken Club for lunch and savor the day.

Grande Dunes Resort Club
The golf course understandably attracts most of the attention —it’s one of Myrtle Beach’s best—but leaving right after your round means missing half the fun. Terrazza 19, the clubhouse restaurant, serves outstanding food and features a bar with views of the 18th green. Combine that with an outdoor patio overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway, and you have a clubhouse experience that doubles as the perfect happy hour spot. Pine Lakes Country Club
Known as “The Granddaddy,” Pine Lakes boasts a clubhouse on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1927, its stately design includes grand columns and a brick patio offering views of the course and the Myrtle Beach Golf Hall of Fame. Pair its historic charm with delicious food, and you’ll see why this clubhouse is so special.

Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club
Following a 2023 renovation, Pawleys Plantation unveiled Palmetto Jack’s, a clubhouse restaurant featuring a picture window with views of the 18th hole and water. The new deck, which offers additional outdoor seating, adds to the fun, and the menu goes well beyond “golf course food.” This is a post-round destination you don’t want to miss

Glen Dornoch Waterway Golf Links
We love a clubhouse with a view, and Glen Dornoch’s might be the best. Nestled just yards from the Intracoastal Waterway, it overlooks the dramatic double green shared by holes 9 and 18. No matter how your round went, this idyllic setting is the perfect way to cap the day.

The next time you’re planning a trip, these five courses will ensure your post-round experience is as memorable as your time on the course.
