Myrtle Beach International Airport is wrapping up a standout 2025 with another milestone: the addition of two more nonstop routes for travelers.
Allegiant Airlines revealed that it will launch seasonal nonstop flights from Dayton, Ohio and Elmira, N.Y. to Myrtle Beach starting May 22, 2026. These new connections will give golfers and vacationers direct access to the Grand Strand during the late spring stretch and throughout the height of the fall golf season.
The new flights will operate Mondays and Fridays, and introductory one-way fares are available from $49.
From Elmira, departures are scheduled for 6:51 p.m., landing in Myrtle Beach at 8:46 p.m. The return flight will leave MYR at 4:08 p.m. and arrive back in Elmira at 6:01 p.m.
For travelers from Dayton, Allegiant will take off at 4:28 p.m., touching down in Myrtle Beach at 6:03 p.m. The Grand Strand return flight is set for 6:53 p.m., with an arrival in southwest Ohio at 8:33 p.m.
With afternoon return options, golfers will have plenty of time to complete a round anywhere along the coast before heading to the airport.
These additions bring Myrtle Beach’s total number of nonstop destinations to 59—the highest among all airports in South Carolina.
MYR’s continued growth is bolstered not only by demand for Myrtle Beach vacations but also by the airport’s reputation. USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards ranked Myrtle Beach International No. 4 among Best Small Airports in the U.S., and No. 2 in the Best Resort Airport category, underscoring its strong appeal to travelers.
Airlines currently serving Myrtle Beach include Allegiant, American Airlines, Avelo Airlines, Breeze, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, Spirit, Sun Country, and United.
