Monday After the Masters with Meredith

On April 13, 2015, LPGA Instructor and 2014 Mrs. South Carolina America Meredith Kirk went behind the scenes to meet some of the newer faces at the 21st Annual Hootie & the Blowfish Monday After the Masters Pro-Am.

The event was held once more at the Dye Course at Barefoot Resort in North Myrtle Beach. Among the celebrity guests in attendance who are highlighted in this video:

Mike Golic – Co-host of ESPN Radio’s “Mike & Mike in the Morning,” which has broadcast live from this event for the past several years.

Golden Tate – Wide receiver for the NFL’s Detroit Lions who won a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks in 2013.

Larry the Cable Guy – World-renowned comedian, television and movie star who has frequently teamed up with Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Ron White on the “Blue Collar Comedy Tour.”

George and Wesley Bryan – Renowned trick shot artists who most recently appeared in Golf Channel’s “Big Break: The Palm Beaches.”

Josh Kelley – Renowned musician and longtime participant in this event. He, along with Charlie Rymer, Hootie & The Blowfish bandmember Mark Bryan and Perry Swenson, co-starred in Golf Channel’s feature series “Road Trip: Myrtle Beach.”

For the 10th consecutive year, a sellout out crowd of 6,000+ fans packed the Dye Course to watch their favorite athletes, musicians and celebrities compete in this event. PGA Tour stars Jim Furyk and Billy Horschel, pro football legends Bruce Smith and Jonathan Ogden and basketball standouts Rick Barry, Shane Battier and Spud Webb headlined the 2015 Monday After the Masters field.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Hootie & the Blowfish Foundation, which supports the educational needs of children in South Carolina and the South Carolina Junior Golf Foundation through a fully funded endowment.
