LPGA instructor and Myrtle Beach golf ambassador Meredith Kirk has added a new achievement to her growing list of accolades, as her peers have ranked her third in South Carolina in Golf Digest’s “The Best Teachers In Your State” listing for 2015-2016.
Meredith joins Brad Redding, a Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher based at The International Club in Murrells Inlet, S.C., as the Grand Strand’s representatives in this ranking.

It’s the latest in a series of notable milestones for Meredith, who Golf Digest also honored as among the 40 “Best Young Teachers (Under 40) in America” for 2014-2015. Her instructional videos have appeared regularly on the Myrtle Beach golf scene’s leading Web sites for years, and in 2015 began airing on Golf Channel’s instructional shows including “Golf Channel Academy” and “The Golf Fix.”
Meredith launched the Junior Golf Exchange in 2014, a non-profit endeavor whose mission is to foster youth involvement in the game by providing golf clubs to junior golfers at no cost to their families. With this initiative as her charitable platform, Meredith competed in and won the 2014 Mrs. South Carolina America pageant.
Meredith has also been featured as one of the “Most Beautiful Women in Golf” by Golf.com, alongside such renowned golf personalities as Holly Sonders, Blair O’ Neal, Lauren Thompson and Michelle Wie.
