The Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate returns to Grande Dunes Resort Club September 6th-8th with a field featuring defending champions, conference winners and programs that competed on the NCAA stage last season.
Florida Atlantic returns as the defending team champion, while Coastal Carolina’s Jack Lee is back at the site of his first collegiate victory. Reigning CAA champion UNC Wilmington and several other accomplished players add to a field filled with championship credentials.

The Coastal Carolina standout opened last year’s tournament with rounds of 65 and 66 before closing with a 71. His 14-under-par total of 202 secured the individual championship and his first collegiate victory.
Lee carried that momentum through the season and earned second-team All-Sun Belt honors.
Coastal Carolina also produced the top two finishers during stroke play at the 2026 Sun Belt Championship. Max Bengtsson won the individual title at 11 under, while Drew Sykes finished second. Both players earned invitations to the NCAA Athens Regional, adding to the program’s championship résumé.
Florida Atlantic Returns as Defending Champion
While Lee claimed the individual trophy, Florida Atlantic delivered the tournament’s most dominant team performance.
The Owls finished at 26 under, defeating Clemson and Florida Gulf Coast by nine shots. After opening with a 289, Florida Atlantic took command with rounds of 275 and 274.
Biagio Gagliardi helped power the victory, following a second-round 66 with a bogey-free 65 to finish second individually. NaShawn Tyson added three rounds in the 60s to tie for third.
The victory was Florida Atlantic’s fourth team title in three seasons under head coach Adrien Mork. The Owls now return to Grande Dunes with an opportunity to defend their title. (team photo below)
UNCW Brings a Championship Résumé
UNC Wilmington arrives after a record-setting 2025-26 season.
The Seahawks won their ninth CAA championship with a conference-record score of 38 under, defeating the field by 17 shots. Three UNCW players finished among the top five, led by James Rico, who won the individual title at a CAA-record 14 under and was later named the conference’s Golfer of the Year.
The victory sent UNCW to the NCAA Bryan Regional for the program’s 12th NCAA appearance. The Seahawks entered regional play ranked No. 40 nationally, completing the year as one of the country’s leading mid-major programs.
Campbell Leads Jacksonville State
Jacksonville State brings another proven tournament winner to Myrtle Beach.
Stanley Campbell earned third-team All-Conference USA honors after recording four top-10 finishes. He led the Gamecocks with 115 birdies and five eagles and won the Bash in the Boro in a playoff.
Campbell also finished fourth at the Seminole Intercollegiate, shooting 67 and 70 over the final two rounds to earn Conference USA Golfer of the Week honors.
With Lee and Florida Atlantic returning to defend their titles, UNCW bringing a conference-championship pedigree and accomplished players such as Campbell ready to challenge them, Grande Dunes is set to host another memorable showcase of college golf.
