Two of golf’s most popular YouTubers are coming to one of Myrtle Beach’s premier golf courses this fall.
The Bryan Bros Shootout is a two-day event hosted by George and Wesley Bryan at the acclaimed Grande Dunes Resort Course, November 7-8.
Festivities will begin with a three-hour welcome party at Terrazza 19, Grande Dunes’ on-site restaurant on November 7, and two-man teams will compete in an 18-
hole captain’s choice tournament Saturday morning, with the low scorers advancing to “The Shootout” that afternoon at 3 p.m.
The Shootout will be a single-elimination, modified alternate shot event with the winner claiming a four-night, four-round trip to Myrtle Beach for four people. The sold-out event, which costs $718 per team and $359 per player, also includes a welcome gift bag, breakfast and lunch at Grande Dunes, closest to the pin contest, random drawing prizes and more.
Golfers interested in participating can join the wait list to be notified if a spot becomes available.
With 1.4 million followers across their social media channels – 665,000 on YouTube, 370,000 on Instagram, and 250,000 on TikTok – George and Wesley, both accomplished golfers, are two of the game’s most influential content creators. Both have played on the PGA Tour and Wesley won the Tour’s RBC Heritage in 2017.
Grande Dunes, which enjoyed a greens and bunker renovation project in 2022, features five holes that reside along the Intracoastal Waterway, including the par-3 14th. Playing from an elevated tee box to a green that buffets the waterway, No. 14 is one of coastal South Carolina’s most dramatic one-shotters.
While the waterway holes attract most of the attention, Grande Dunes has been ranked among America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses based on the strength of the layout from beginning to end. The course features generous fairways and some of the area’s most creative greens complexes, delighting local and traveling golfers alike.
