With planning already underway for trips in the spring of 2025, Granite State golfers have another reason to make Myrtle Beach their destination of choice.
Avelo, a low-cost carrier targeting leisure travelers, has announced it will begin flying twice weekly, nonstop flights from Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) to Myrtle Beach International beginning April 4, 2025. The flights will be on Mondays and Fridays, perfect for golfers making a trip to the game’s most popular destination.
Avelo will depart MHT at 3:40 p.m. and arrive in Myrtle Beach at 5:54 p.m. The return flight will leave MYR at 6:39 p.m. and land at the New Hampshire airport at 8:46 p.m., allowing for a departure-day round of golf.
The Avelo announcement comes on the heels of Allegiant Air announcing the addition of three new nonstop routes to Myrtle Beach in 2025. Allegiant will begin flights from Plattsburgh, NY (PBG) on May 15 and Grand Rapids, MI (GRR) and Niagara Falls, NY (IAG) on May 22, continuing another banner year for Myrtle Beach International Airport.
In October, readers of USA Today voted MYR the best small airport in America for the third year in a row, highlighting the quality of experience travelers enjoy.
Ten carriers – Allegiant, American, Avelo, Breeze, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, Spirit, Sun Country, United – service Myrtle Beach, offering a total of 72 nonstop flights from across the country.
