There is a lot that’s new at Wild Wing in 2026, and the changes extend well beyond the golf course.
As golfers return to experience the restored Avocet Course, they will also find an entirely new look inside the clubhouse, where the renovated Wishbones Bar & Grill combines a fresh dining experience with something particularly appealing to golfers: two TrackMan simulator bays.
But you don’t need a tee time to enjoy it. Wishbones is open to the public, making the new restaurant and TrackMan experience an option for golfers and non-golfers alike.
A New Look at Wishbones
The renovation has transformed Wishbones into a bright, contemporary gathering spot that feels equally suited for a pre-round meal, post-round drinks, dinner or an evening with friends.
The dining room features an open, comfortable layout with new furnishings and lighting, while the redesigned bar provides plenty of seating and televisions for guests looking to settle in.
For golfers, it’s a natural extension of a day at Wild Wing. For everyone else, Wishbones stands on its own as a place to stop in for lunch, dinner, drinks or some time in the TrackMan bays.
Keep the Competition Going
The most distinctive addition to Wishbones might be the two TrackMan bays located just steps from the dining area.
Golfers can move from the course to the simulator and keep swinging, whether that means playing virtual golf, competing against friends or spending some time working on their game.
And the TrackMan experience isn’t limited to golfers coming off Avocet. Because Wishbones is open to the public, friends, families and groups can come specifically to eat, have a drink and enjoy the simulator bays without ever stepping onto the golf course.
For groups finishing a round, though, the possibilities are obvious. That match that ended all square on No. 18? There’s no reason it has to stay that way.
A Menu That Goes Well Beyond Traditional Golf Course Fare
Wishbones’ all-day menu provides plenty of familiar favorites, but there is considerably more to choose from than what golfers might typically expect at a golf course restaurant.
Groups looking to share something can start with Wild Wings, available in six sauce options, a large Bavarian soft pretzel called the Hook Shot, buffalo chicken dip, potstickers or the Wishbone Whip, featuring whipped buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil, tomato concassé and toasted baguette slices.
One of the menu’s more eye-catching options is the Tin Can Nachos, a tower of tortilla chips with a choice of fried shrimp, seasoned pulled chicken or pulled pork along with olives, tomatoes, scallions, cheese, jalapeños and melted beer cheese.
There is also a substantial sandwich and burger lineup. The Big Boss combines BBQ pulled pork with coleslaw, pickled onions and fried onions, while the Chip Shot Chicken features grilled chicken, bacon, prosciutto and ham. Wishbones’ eight-ounce brisket and short-rib burgers include the All American, Blue and Founders Original.
Stay for Dinner
Wishbones isn’t just a place to grab a quick bite. Beginning at 4 p.m., the menu expands with a lineup of dinner entrées.
Options include braised short ribs, fish and chips, salmon, pork rib eye, Black Diamond sirloin steak, haddock and chicken or shrimp piccata, with each entrée accompanied by a small house salad.
Whether you just finished 18 holes or simply came to Wild Wing for dinner, the expanded menu gives guests plenty of reason to stick around.
Drinks at the New Bar
The redesigned bar has a menu to match its new surroundings.
Wishbones offers a lineup of signature cocktails ranging from the Maple Bourbon Mash and Wishbone Margarita to the Double Bogey and Blue Birdie. There are also wines, mocktails, canned cocktails and a beer selection that includes local Grand Strand Brewery offerings such as Airbrush Hazy IPA and Salty Golfer.
Wishbones also offers its “2-4-6” happy hour Monday through Friday from 4-6 p.m., featuring $2 off appetizers and wine by the glass, $4 domestic drafts and $6 house-brand drinks.
A New Experience at Wild Wing
The renovation of Wishbones adds another dimension to Wild Wing, but importantly, it isn’t an experience reserved only for people with a tee time.
Golfers can finish a round on Avocet, head inside for food and drinks and keep the competition going on TrackMan. Locals and visitors can come directly to Wishbones for lunch or dinner, meet friends at the bar, or make the TrackMan bays part of their plans.
With a completely renovated restaurant, an extensive food and drink menu and two TrackMan bays under the same roof, the new Wishbones Bar & Grill gives golfers and non-golfers alike another reason to spend some time at Wild Wing.
