What's going on, guys? Brian here at TPC Myrtle Beach with Myrtle Beach Golf Trips. Welcome back to Tip of the Week.
Today we're going to talk about ball placement. What a lot of people don't know is that ball placement can affect ball striking.
So this is what I do all the time on the range practicing for tournaments. I get two alignment sticks. What I do is I put one down in alignment of the target down the range where I want to see it. The other one
You go perpendicular, put it down and make an X.
What then after that, what you're gonna do, you're gonna line up to the ball and then you're gonna look down on your alignment sticks.
Noticing that if one side, the left or right side, has more room where that vertical alignment stick is, you know for a fact that the ball is not in the correct space.
Pretty much six iron and down. You want this ball to be in the middle of your stance.
So having this X will definitely help you get in the right position and definitely increase your ball striking.
When you do that, you'll definitely notice that wherever the ball is, if that club is exactly where the vertical alignment stick is, you're gonna hit more pure strikes.
