For Myrtle Beach Golf Trips, helping golfers plan memorable vacations is about more than booking tee times and accommodations. It’s also about the relationships built along the way.
Those relationships were front and center Friday, October 9, as Myrtle Beach Golf Trips welcomed guests to The Bridge, the new Toptracer Range at World Tour Golf Links, for an afternoon of golf, food, drinks and conversation.
The Guest Appreciation Event gave golfers visiting the Grand Strand an opportunity to spend time with the golf directors who help plan their annual trips, often communicating with them for years without ever meeting face-to-face.
“We try to do at least one event a season where we can bring some of our customers together, meet and greet, have a good time and show our appreciation for their business,” said Tyler Hall, Director of Sales for Myrtle Beach Golf Trips.
Putting Faces With Familiar Names
For some of the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips golf directors, the afternoon was particularly meaningful.
Several had the opportunity to meet golfers whose trips they have been planning for more than a decade.
“Some of our golf directors invited groups they’ve been booking for over 10 years,” Hall said. “To finally put a face with a name was really cool.”
More than 120 golfers were on the invitation list, representing groups from California, Indiana, Florida, Ohio, North Carolina and other states.
Many had already played 18 holes earlier in the day but made the trip to World Tour to spend part of their afternoon with the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips team.
“That shows the loyalty our customers have to us and the friendships we’ve built over the years,” Hall said. “It’s really cool to meet some of these groups you’ve talked to for years over the phone.”
An Afternoon at The Bridge
The event also provided an opportunity to introduce guests to one of Myrtle Beach’s newest golf entertainment experiences.
The Bridge at World Tour Golf Links features Toptracer technology, giving golfers another way to enjoy the game beyond a traditional round.
From 2 to 6 p.m., guests enjoyed complimentary food and drinks, music, cornhole and time in the Toptracer bays.
Hall said choosing The Bridge as the host location was ideal.
“We wanted golfers to see there are other options, whether it’s a rainy day or they just want somewhere to warm up and practice,” he said.
The World Tour Golf Links team helped make the afternoon a success, welcoming guests and providing a relaxed setting for golfers to enjoy themselves after a day on the course.
Looking Ahead to More Myrtle Beach Memories
For the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips team, the event was another reminder that the best part of the golf travel business is often the people behind the reservations.
The afternoon was filled with familiar voices, new introductions and plenty of conversations about golf trips past and future.
In fact, some of the groups in attendance have already started planning their 2027 Myrtle Beach golf vacations.
Hall expressed his appreciation to everyone who took time out of their Friday to join the team, particularly those who came straight from the golf course.
A special thanks also goes to the team at World Tour Golf Links for hosting the event and helping make the afternoon memorable.
For Myrtle Beach Golf Trips, the goal is simple: continue building relationships that bring golfers back to the Grand Strand year after year.
And sometimes, the best way to strengthen those relationships is to put down the phone, shake hands and enjoy an afternoon together.
