Readers of Golf Insider Magazine weighed in with their choices for the best places in Myrtle Beach to get a post-round burger.

BurgerFi

BurgerFi was started in a gourmet kitchen by gourmet chefs. They didn’t know fast food, so it’s less burger joint, more five-star restaurant. Meaning, there are no shortcuts. Or microwaves, freezers, or heat lamps for that matter.

The beef is purveyed from the best, most natural ranches on earth where cattle roam free, eat grass, breathe mountain air, and are treated humanely.

BurgerFi is confident its signature burgers are perfect. Placing the VegeFi among its signature is hard work. Fresh ingredients are chopped and mixed every day. They boil lentils to al dente perfection, and flavor their grilled onions in a reduction of thyme and merlot. It also features crispy quinoa plus fresh-cut veggie burger, white cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and BurgerFi sauce on a multigrain bun.

Logan’s Roadhouse

Logan’s Original Roadhouse Steak Burgers feature a half pound of freshly ground USDA Choice steak seasoned with natural spices and served with fries or home-style potato chips.

Their Fried Cheese & Bacon Burger also sports a half pound of freshly ground USDA Choice steak, but with bacon strips, burger sauce, and fried cheddar cheese served on a toasted Kaiser roll and topped with lettuce, tomato, sliced red onion and pickles.

Steak ’n Shake

Steak ’n Shake was founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois. Gus Belt, Steak ’n Shake’s founder, pioneered the concept of premium burgers and milk shakes.

For more than 80 years, the company’s name has been symbolic of its heritage. The word “steak” stood for steakburger. The term “shake” stood for hand-dipped milk shakes. Gus was determined to serve his customers the finest burgers and shakes in the business. To prove his point that his burgers were exceptionally prime, he would wheel in a barrel of steaks (including round, sirloin and T-bones) and grind the meat into burgers right in front of the guests.

A Double Steakburger with melted American cheese, applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, vine-ripened tomato and mayo is all topped by a delicious fried egg.
