Fall 2025 Golf in Myrtle Beach: What’s New, What’s Must-Do

Myrtle Beach’s fall golf season is nearly upon us, hard as it may be to believe. Whether you’ve had a trip on the books for months or your group is still in the planning stages, there is much to look forward to on and off the course.

As you begin daydreaming about your next visit to Myrtle Beach, here are five things you will want to prioritize.

-The area’s biggest on-course story in the fall of 2025 is the reopening of King’s North at Myrtle Beach National. Architect Brandon Johnson is overhauling the back nine of the venerable Arnold Palmer layout, and if the front nine is the barometer, King’s North will be a must-play. Johnson isn’t completely redesigning the course, but the green complexes will be much more creative, and several holes will have a different look. King’s North is poised to reclaim its spot as one of the Grand Strand’s best layouts, so make it a priority, whether it’s this fall or on your 2026 trip.

-Enjoy Myrtle Beach’s idyllic fall weather with dinner and/or a drink at 357 Raw Coastal Bar overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. 357 Raw is located next to the Marina Inn, and in addition to the waterway, you’ll enjoy a scenic view of the ninth hole at Grande Dunes across the way. This place is a hidden gem. (pictured right)

Broadway at the Beach is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, so whether you are looking for dinner or a night on the town, make it a point to return to the 350-acre shopping, dining and entertainment complex. From Dave and Busters to the Hangout and Yamato, there is something for everyone in your group at Broadway.

-If you need to tune your game up, head to the Mashie Golf Institute in the heart of town. The indoor training center features three simulator bays, a 5-bay driving range, a 1,000-square-foot chipping and putting green and more. If you are desperate, on-staff PGA members can even provide you with lessons.

-If you are a college football fan, make the short drive to Conway on a Saturday afternoon to watch the Chanticleers of Coastal Carolina play. The game-day atmosphere is good, everyone enjoys a good tailgate, and you know you want to see the teal turf in person. You can also catch the Chanticleer basketball team this winter or the baseball team – the 2025 national runner-up – next spring.

Whether you’re draining birdie putts or beachside cocktails, fall in Myrtle Beach has everything your golf group needs.
