TPC Myrtle Beach is packed with memorable moments, but a handful of holes rise above the rest—visually striking, strategically demanding, and impossible to forget once you’ve played them. These are our picks: five postcard-worthy holes that showcase the course’s natural beauty and thoughtful design, and are sure to leave indelible memories the next time you tee it up. (All distances are from the back tees)
No. 2 – Par 5, 547 Yards
Your first par 5 of the day wastes no time making an impression. Water hugs the entire left side from tee to green, while tall pines frame the right, creating a narrow visual corridor that immediately grabs your attention. The second shot invites both ambition and anxiety, with three bunkers guarding the front of the landing area and—just in case—you’ll find more water lurking left. An elevated green with two left-side bunkers caps off the hole, delivering a wild, memorable ride early in the round. (2nd pictured right)
No. 7 – Par 3, 187 Yards
One of the most visually unique par 3s on the property, No. 7 is a true scene-stealer. Pampas grass stretches along the entire left side, giving way to a long bunker that runs from tee to green. Towering pines surround the hole, creating a secluded, almost cinematic feel. Keep an eye out—wild turkeys are frequent spectators here, adding to the hole’s unmistakable Lowcountry charm.
No. 10 – Par 4, 387 Yards
The back nine begins with a statement. Your approach shot on No. 10 is framed by water that guards the right side and wraps behind the green, while two C-shaped bunkers protect the left. It’s a hole that demands focus, but rewards you with one of the most photogenic green complexes on the course. A good score is nice—but the image will stick with you long after. (Top photo)
No. 17 – Par 3, 193 Yards
For many, this is the signature hole at TPC Myrtle Beach—and it’s easy to see why. Water stretches from tee to green along the right side and continues behind the putting surface. A large grass berm behind the green once served as a gallery viewing area during the 2000 Senior Tour Championship, while terraced grass along the left creates a true stadium-golf atmosphere. It’s dramatic, intimidating, and unforgettable. (17th pictured right)
No. 18 – Par 5, 538 Yards
You can see the finish line from the tee, but the path to the clubhouse is anything but simple. A creek separates the tee boxes from the fairway, snakes down the right side, and crosses the fairway again to challenge your second shot. From there, a large lake guards the left side of the approach and wraps behind the green, stopping just short of the grassy berm below the clubhouse porch. It’s a closing hole that delivers equal parts beauty and drama—exactly how a round at TPC Myrtle Beach should end.
