Thinking about a fall golf trip to Myrtle Beach? Autumn is one of the most enjoyable times to play along the Grand Strand. The weather turns cooler, the beach crowds thin out, and the courses are in excellent shape. Here’s a closer look at what you can expect from September through November.

Fall in Myrtle Beach brings a gradual shift from the warmth of summer to the crispness of late autumn. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Rainfall: September is the wettest month of the season, thanks in part to hurricane season. Rain chances decrease in October and November, with showers becoming less frequent.

  • Sunshine: Expect around 12 sunny days in September, climbing to about 16 in October. Daylight averages 11+ hours, plenty of time for a round (or two) of golf.

  • Humidity: Early fall can feel muggy, but October and November bring crisp, comfortable air.
