Myrtlewood Golf Club to Host Annual Make-A-Wish South Carolina Charity Golf Tournament on August 19

Golf and giving back will come together once again this August as Myrtlewood Golf Club hosts its annual golf tournament benefiting Make-A-Wish South Carolina. Presented by HTC, the event will take place on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, with all proceeds helping grant life-changing wishes for children battling critical illnesses across South Carolina.

Held on both the PineHills and Palmetto courses, the Captain’s Choice tournament has become one of Myrtle Beach’s premier charity golf events, bringing together golfers, local businesses, and community supporters for a day that makes a meaningful difference.

Tournament Schedule

The day begins with 7:00 a.m. check-in and breakfast, followed by the opening ceremony and wish celebration at 8:30 a.m. A 9:00 a.m. shotgun start sends golfers onto both courses for a fun-filled day of competition and camaraderie.
