Kyle Berkshire, Micah Morris, Fat Perez Headline 2025 Q at TPC Myrtle Beach

The Q at Myrtle Beach, featuring eight content creators and eight aspiring professionals competing for sponsor exemption into the ONEFlight Myrtle Beach Classic, is returning to TPC Myrtle Beach.

Debuting May 5 at 2 p.m. on Play Golf Myrtle Beach’s YouTube channel, the 18-hole shootout hopes to build on the viral success of last year’s Q, which racked up over a million views and helped inspire the PGA TOUR’s Creator’s Classic.

Many of golf’s top content creators, including Fat Perez and Micah Morris, returned to Myrtle Beach to chase a shot on golf’s greatest Tour. They’ll go head-to-head with rising junior and collegiate golf stars at TPC Myrtle Beach, a Tom Fazio-Lanny Wadkins design built to challenge the world’s best.

Here is a look at the field for the 2025 Q at Myrtle Beach:

Creators

Sean Walsh
A globetrotting golfer from Texas, Walsh played at Gonzaga and has pro experience on the Korn Ferry Tour. A member of Good Good, he’s caddied at The Q, competed in the Creator Classic, and played across five continents. (Pictured right)

Kyle Berkshire
A long-drive legend, Berkshire is a three-time World Champion with a jaw-dropping 579-yard bomb on his résumé. A former University of North Texas golfer and YouTube star (221K subscribers), Kyle brings raw power and personality to The Q.

Roger Steele
Charismatic and creative, Steele is a scratch golfer from Chicago and a force in golf media. A TGL host and founder of HIPE Media, Roger is driven by storytelling, community, and honoring his father, Roger Steele Sr., who introduced him to the game.

Ben Kruper
Known online as “The Pause King,” Kruper is a rising star in the YouTube golf world. With collaborations alongside the Bryan Bros, Good Good, and more, he broke through by winning the Good Good Desert Open with Ashton Gaulin.

Micah Morris
Back for redemption after a tough 2024 Q showing, Morris is one of YouTube’s most-watched golf creators (500K+ subs). The Titleist signee and former pro has played in Canada and remains one of the event’s most intriguing wild cards. (Pictured left)

Peter Finch
Finch went from teaching pro to YouTube giant (719K subs) and held his own at the 2024 Q, finishing T6. The UK-based creator was part of the epic $100K skins match at Solina and continues to blend instruction with competition.

Fat Perez
A cult favorite with blue-collar roots, “FP” went from accountant to full-time golf creator during COVID. He played DIII golf and finished 14th at The Q last year, but his storytelling and Ryder Cup family roots keep fans locked in.

George Bryan IV
One half of the Bryan Bros, George nearly won The Q in 2024, losing in a playoff to Matt Atkins. A former PGA TOUR competitor and YouTube mainstay, the South Carolina native mixes elite skill with creative charisma.

Aspiring Pros

Patrick O’Brien
A Coastal Carolina alum and new dad, O’Brien punched his ticket to The Q by holing a dramatic chip to win the Myrtle Beach Professional Qualifier. The former First Tee coach and Connecticut standout is known for his gritty game and old-school approach—he won’t replace a club unless it breaks.

Joe Hooks
Detroit native and Wayne State product Joe Hooks is chasing his pro dreams after years on the APGA Tour. Though he’s yet to tee it up on the PGA TOUR, his passion is unmatched—last year, he set a scoring record during a 100-hole hike for charity.

Andrew Swanson
Currently teeing it up for Clemson, Swanson enters The Q ranked No. 258 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings. The Bluffton, S.C., native was runner-up at the Steelwood Collegiate and earned the NCAA’s prestigious Elite 90 Award in 2024. (Pictured right)

Nathan Franks
One of college golf’s top talents, Franks is ranked No. 121 in the world amateur ranks and starred for South Carolina this season with wins in Puerto Rico and at the Schenkel Invitational. He battled back from a fractured elbow to earn All-American honors.

Drew Sykes
Hailing from Littlehampton, England, Sykes brings international flair to The Q. A Coastal Carolina standout and Sun Belt Conference Golfer of the Week in 2024, his game is on the rise—just like his European ranking (No. 211).

Tyler Watts
The pride of Huntsville, Ala., Watts is the No. 5-ranked junior golfer in the U.S. and already a fixture at elite events. He’s the 2023 Jones Cup champ and runner-up at the 2024 U.S. Junior Am, earning his Q invite via the Dustin Johnson World Junior. (Pictured left)

Trevor Gutschewski
Golf runs deep for Gutschewski, the U.S. Junior Am champ and son of pro golfer Scott Gutschewski. The future Florida Gator topped Tyler Watts in the final, had a viral tweet after, and made history playing a Korn Ferry event alongside his dad and brother.

Jake Albert
Ranked No. 27 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings, Albert is an Auburn commit who surged into The Q with a T2 at the 2024 Junior PGA Championship. The Virginia native has competed twice at the Dustin Johnson World Junior and thrives on big stages.

The Q was filmed on March 3, and the video chronicling the competition will run approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes.
