Myrtle Beach International continues to rank among the South’s fastest-growing airports, a status boosted by the launch of its newest nonstop connection.
Breeze Airways, the low-cost carrier, will begin offering twice-weekly nonstop flights between Myrtle Beach and New Orleans starting September 25. The service will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, with flights leaving New Orleans at 7 a.m. and touching down in Myrtle Beach at 10:05 a.m. Return service departs the Grand Strand at 3:59 p.m., arriving in New Orleans at 5:14 p.m.
Introductory fares begin at just $59 each way.
For golfers, the schedule couldn’t be better — arrival and departure times leave plenty of room to fit in a round on travel days.
With this new route, Myrtle Beach International now provides nonstop service to 57 destinations through 10 carriers: Allegiant, American Airlines, Avelo Airlines, Breeze, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, Spirit, Sun Country, and United.
Travelers can fly nonstop to Myrtle Beach from a wide range of cities, including Akron-Canton, Albany, Allentown, Atlanta, Atlantic City, Baltimore, Belleville/St.
Louis, Boston, Charleston (WV), Charlotte, Chicago (Midway and O’Hare), Cincinnati, Clarksburg, Cleveland, Columbus (CMH and LCK), Dallas (Love Field and DFW), Denver, Detroit, Ft. Lauderdale, Ft.
