Meredith Showcases the Perfect Day in Myrtle Beach

Okay, so you just arrived in Myrtle Beach, and what a place. Some great golf and have some Myrtle Beach fun. Let me show you what to do. Here we are at one of my favorite places, Pine Lakes Country Club. This is the birthplace of Myrtle Beach golf. When you arrive here, you will really sense how special this place truly is. From the staff wearing the kilts and knickers and even being served clam chowder and mimosas, you get a sense that they really embrace their history. Pine Lakes was not only the birthplace of Myrtle Beach golf but also of Sports Illustrated magazine. This course opened in 1927 and was originally called the Ocean Forest Country Club. What’s really cool is the traditional layout of this course. The clubhouse is visible on all 18 holes. Pine Lakes is home to the Myrtle Beach Golf Hall of Fame. With Pine Lakes Country Club located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, I like to take advantage of all the attractions Myrtle Beach has to offer. From the Sky Wheel, to the pier, to the Myrtle Beach boardwalk, and not to mention, a variety of restaurants, it’s a great way to wrap up a perfect day. To book a tee time at Pine Lakes Country Club or any other golf course in Myrtle Beach, you can go to MyrtleBeachGolfTrips.com.
