Sam Jones has as many NBA championship rings as he has fingers, and has been named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. This Boston Celtics legend understands excellence: so when he makes the latest of his many return trips to the Myrtle Beach golf scene, and takes the time to share his thoughts about why he comes back year after year, we make it a point to listen.

Jones is one of many prominent sports and entertainment celebrities who came to the Resort Club at Grande Dunes recently for the Know Your Score Celebrity Golf Tournament in Myrtle Beach, as part of ZERO Prostate Cancer Golf and their fight to end prostate cancer.

In this video, Jones is joined by:

Cornelius Bennett, a three-time All-Pro linebacker who enjoyed a 14-year NFL career with the Buffalo Bills, Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts, and was a two-time AFC Defensive Player of the year (1988 and 1991):

Junior Bridgeman, a 12-year NBA veteran and president of Bridgeman Foods LLC, which owns and operates more than 160 Wendy’s restaurant franchises across the country; and

Billy Mac, a singer/songwriter whose “Tee It Up Live” show is featured at golf events, fundraisers and tournaments throughout the country and pays tribute to tot the history of golf with a celebrated blend of heart and humor.

Each took time out from their Know Your Score activities to weigh in on what, in their minds, makes the Myrtle Beach golf experience so special.
